POLICY

Ticket to the Moon warrants our production to be in good condition and free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the original sale date. All warranty issues are eligible for exchange. There will be no credits or refunds. Some product colors may not be available in which case we will replace at our discretion.

You may return any unused Ticket to the Moon product(s) within 10 days of delivery for a full refund. We will not accept anything we receive after this allotted time.
Ticket to the Moon will only pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you receive an incorrect or defective product). You will be contacted when we receive the returned product.

IMPORTANT: A copy of your sales receipt must be included with any Warranty or Return.

With respectful use, your Ticket to the Moon products will last you a lifetime.

We suggest you remove sharp objects from your pockets before using the hammock, as they could potentially pierce your hammock. Also, refraining from smoking and using smoking devices when sitting in your hammock or shelter, this will prolong the life of your Ticket to the Moon gear.

• Machine Washing: 
  Tie ends together with string just below the end loops. Tie hammock again at the other end, and once more in the middle. This will prevent tangling. Put the hammock in a pillow case and tie it closed tightly. Use mild detergent, not bleach. Hang hammock to dry quickly after wash.
  
  
• Hand Washing: 
  Tie ends together with string just below the end loops. Tie hammock again at the other end, and once more in the middle. This will prevent tangling. In bathtub or a large sink, immerse your hammock in a water/mild detergent mixture (do not use bleach). Agitate the hammock until clean. Hang hammock to dry quickly after wash.
  
  
• Using spreader bars
  Lay your hammocks on a flat surface (driveway or deck) – clean with water and mild detergent using soft bristle brush. Hang your hammock immediately after wash for quick drying.

• Do I need to bring my hammock in when it rains?
  

  In order to maximize the lifespan of your hammock, we recommend taking it inside during bad weather conditions. Certain materials such as cotton can attract mildew and will eventually rot (in the long term) if left out in the rain. Alternatively, some hammock protection can be used to protect your hammock from the elements.
  
  

• How much space do I need to hang my hammock ?

  The optimum distance for hanging a hammock is 10-15 feet. If the distance is LESS than that, it will be necessary to raise the location of the hooks. If the trees are MORE than the recommended distance, you can compensate with our nautical rope.
  
  

• What is my hammock’s weight capacity ?

  That depends on the hammock. Weight capacities are listed for all our individual hammocks in their descriptions. At the minimum, our hammocks can support one very large adult (up to 140 Kilos).

  
  
• Are Ticket to the Moon hammocks breathable ?

  Our products are made of porous, UV treated, breathable nylon. They will not hold water, so can be left outside for extended periods of time, without the threat of mildew. This breathable quality lends itself to a cool, comfortable hammock experience.
